11-year-old Laila Anderson, the superfan of St. Louis Blues joins team in their Stanley Cup celebrations

Laila Anderson, the young superfan of the St. Louis Blues was able to join his favorite team on Ice on Wednesday night to0 join their celebration of winning the Stanley Cup.

11-year-old Laila Anderson, who is currently suffering from a life-threatening disease that compels the body to make more immune cells, had adopted the Blues and the Blues adopted her.




Before Game 3 of the Stanley Cup final series, she was also given the mic to fire up the crowd.

Now she was there for the game 7 of the Blues VS Bruins as her team surprised her by flying her all the way to Boston.

Following Blues’ win over Bruins by 4-1, Anderson held the Stanley Cup along with Parayko and kissed it twice just like players do.

Parayko said, “She is very special, everything about her is special. She is such a great warrior. She preserves bravely through everything. She is going through a hard battle. I was very happy to be with her at this moment. It was really special to me.”
