Acciari scores his 2nd straight hat trick as Florida Panthers win over Dallas Stars

Noel Acciari of the Florida Panthers had a simple approach when it came to his career’s first penalty shot. He said it was, “Don’t trip and don’t fall.”

He literally stayed upright and then managed to complete his 2nd consecutive hat trick as he led the Florida Panthers 7-4 victory against the Dallas Stars this Friday night.

Noel Acciari was able to score the natural hat trick in the franchise’s record time of 3 minutes and 59 seconds as he is now enjoying his career-high of 11 goals along with an assist for the letting the Florida Panthers enjoyed their  5 goal win in the 2nd period.

28 years old Noel Acciari was acquired by the Florida Panthers via free agency after he had played 4 seasons with the Boston Bruins. He started his run at the mark of 7:26 of the 2nd period and then struck again at the 7:58. He was then able to slip the third goal past the goalie of Stars Anthon Khudoin at the mark of 8:35 to make the score for Panthers 7-1 and completing his hat trick.

After achieving this massive feat, Noel Acciari said, “I don’t do too many of those.  It was really nerve-wracking. I followed the puck as soon as it went off of my stick to see if it has gone through and I was relieved to see it had.”

The first hat trick game for Noel Acciari was back on Tuesday night when he scored 3 goals to lead Florida Panthers’ 6-1 victory against Ottawa.

Jonathan Huberdeau of the Panthers scored a goal along with 3 assists for his 2nd straight game while Vincent Trocheck also had a goal with 2 assists and then Anton Stralman and Colton Sceviour scoring a goal each. The goalie for the Panthers Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 27 shots.

Up next, the Dallas Stars will host a game against the Calgary Flames while Panthers will be playing against the Carolina Hurricanes next.
