Alexander-Arnold leads as Liverpool beat Leicester by 4-0 to get the lead of 13-point Premier League

If the Liverpool goes on to lift the trophy of the English Premier League in the coming May, then the three years drought end will be much accredited to their player named Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The right-back of Liverpool presented an amazing performance in this game of Premier League held between Leicester and Liverpool on the Thursday night.

Alexander-Arnold led the Liverpool with not only his important role in making the first 3 goals but also scored his own goal to allow the Liverpool win over Leicester by 4-0. With this win, Liverpool is now 13 points ahead of the Leicester in the Premier League. And this lead is still with one game for Liverpool to spare and half of the season still left to be played.

This victory was earned by Liverpool on the Boxing Day in central England of only 5 days after the champion of the Euro League added the Club World Cup to their long haul of trophies.

Alexander-Arnold said, “We played some really great football tonight especially after all the traveling we have done and the intense period we have played through. This was probably one of our best performances of this season of Premier League.”

The winning goal was scored by Roberto Firmino against Flamengo and then he went on to complete 2 crosses made by Alexander-Arnold to score goals at the King Power Stadium.

The goal that ended any hopes for Leicester to make a comeback was scored when James Milner had the 2nd goal of the night during the 71st minute on a penalty shot.

The move that resulted in the penalty shot also came after Alexander-Arnold cross was handled by Çağlar Söyüncü, the defender of Leicester.
