Amine Harit scores to lead Schalke’s 3rd consecutive win at Bundesliga

Amine Harit took lead of the Schalke in the game of Bundesliga on Friday night against Mainz to score a late winner to win their third consecutive match of the Bundesliga by 2-1.

Harit first helped his teammate Suat Serdar to break the deadlock of the game during the 21st minute to score a goal and then to score his own goal in the 89th winner for the win of the game as the game had earlier been equalized by Mainz’s Karim Onisiwo.

Schalke had the dominant start and the possession but they were not able to make any cutting edge for troubling Mainz as they made their first goal after Harit helped Serdar to score, who did not celebrated the goal in front of his former team.

A fan was in need of medical assistance in the stands but on the pitch there was little action until striker of Mainz, Onisiwo came to score a goal in the 71st minute.

As for the game winning goal of Schalke, Harit saved it for the last as he gained pass from Jonjoe Kenny and was able to move past the Mainz defender to curl the ball to move inside the far corner of the goal despite many defenders being in his way.

With this win, Schalke has now leveled up in the Bundesliga with Leipzig for the top place ahead of their rest of the games for the weekend. Leipzig will play against Werder Bremen this Saturday.
