Antetokounmpo leads as Milwaukee Bucks tops Timberwolves by 134-106

Even if the start of the game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Minnesota Timberwolves had been an unusual one, the stat line from Giannis Antetokounmpo was not.

Following his arrival after a long delay, Antetokounmpo was sure to lead the team in this game with his 34 points along with 15 rebounds to lead the win of Milwaukee Bucks by 134-106 against the Timberwolves on Monday night.

Antetokounmpo said, “Once you got there with a mindset that you need to play hard, you play hard.  Once you cannot go hard, you need to change your mindset.”

The game between the Bucks and Wolves had to be postponed by almost 50 minutes due to the basket of one side needed some fixing. The basket had gotten crooked and it was discovered by the Bucks during their pregame shooting.

Antetokounmpo said, “I was making the sots and I was happy but once they said that the basket had been crooked, I was like Oh, yeah, this is why I had been making all those baskets. It was really disturbing to have right before the game because everybody was ready to play. We had to wait and it was like what? 1 hour?”

Even if the Milwaukee Bucks had been thrown off by this delay, it really did not affect their performance. Other key players from Milwaukee Bucks side like Khris Middleton scored 26 points to match the season-high for him and Eric Bledsoe adding in is now season bets score of 22 points. In addition to this Bledsoe also scored 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
