ATP Finals; Novak Djokovic destroys Kevin Anderson to set up meeting with Alexander Zverev for the Final

The top notch player and the world no. 1 Novak Djokovic utterly destroyed Kevin Anderson at the O2 on Saturday night to set up the meeting with Alexander Zverev for the Sunday’s big final.

With this win, Djokovic has won 8 matches against the South African which includes the Wimbledon final earlier this year. Djokovic won the match by 6-2 and 6-2.

Djokovic is now going to face Alexander Zverev, the 21 years old German player with three Masters Series title in his short career. Zverev is also the youngest finalist of the tournament since 20009 when Juan Martin Del Potro made it to the finals. Zverev in a shocking match defeated Roger Federer earlier on Saturday afternoon.

31 years old Serb displayed his splendid tennis play from the first set as he finished the opening set in just 39 minutes.

Anderson who is the first South African player to have made it to the semi finals of the ATP Finals in the history of the tournament was facing difficult time against the Seb who again opened up the second set rather furiously. Djokovic sealed the second set and his name for the Final match by winning in 75 minutes.

Djokovic is now going to face Alexander Zverev for the Final of the ATP Finals in London’s O2 Arena. Djokovic although has won two of his previous meeting with the youngster, he still lost one match to Zverev back in 2017 at Rome Masters Finals.
