ATP Next Gen Finals in Milan; Stefanos Tsitsipas stays perfect as he defeats Frances Tiafoe

Stefanos Tsitsipas stays unbeaten at the ATP Next Gen Finals in Milan as he defeated his opponent Frances Tiafoe.

20 years old Greek player remained in control for the entire match against his American opponent as he won the match by 4-3, 4-3 and 4-2 to take charge of the Group A, which is all thanks to his second consecutive win.




Stefanos Tsitsipas said to media in a post match interview, “I never dropped my performance as I always stood at 100 percent. I am proud that I stood clam at every point of the match. I hope to pay like this in every match in the ATP Next Gen Finals.

In the same group, Polish No. 1 Hubert Hurkacz won his match against his Spanish opponent Jaume Munar by 4-2, 4-2, 2-4, 3-4 and 4-1.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is now set to face Hubert Hurkacz on Thursday for the final day of the round robin. On the other hand, Tiafoe will face Munar.

As for group B, Liam Caruana defeated Taylor Fritz by 1-4, 4-1, 4-3 and 4-2.

Another match of group B, Alex de Minaur remained also perfect as he defeated his Russian opponent Andrey Rublev by 4-1, 3-4, 4-1 and 4-2.

Rublev is now to face Caruana and De Minaur will face Fritz on Thursday for the final round robin matches.
