Beal, Bryant lead Wizards to a crucial win over Magic by 100-90

After the Wizards one of the worst games this season, the forward Thomas Bryant of the team had a serious talk with Coach Scott Books.

Apparently, this heart to heart talk helped him.

Bryant shook off those defeat memories to score 21 points along with 10 grabs on Wednesday night for the Washington Wizards as they made a little ground for the Eastern Conference playoff ranking by winning over the Orlando Magic by 100-90.

Bryant said, “I was putting myself through too much stress. He told me to relax adjust the focus on this game. You are going to go through some really shaky moments sometimes. Don’t let those moments held you down.”

As for Bradley Beal, he also scored 23 points for the Wizards while Jabari Parker scored his own 19 points to allow the Wizards movie in 1.5 games for the ninth-place Orlando and Hornets. As for Hornets and magic, they are only two games back from the 8th place in Eastern Conference behind Maim Heat.

Washington Wizards with this win are now 2-0 on their five-game homestand.

As for Orlando Magic, they were led by Nikola Vucevic who scored 20 points with 14 rebounds. With this loss, Magic’s have now lost 4 of their last 5 games as they now prepare for their won 5-game homestand. DJ Augustine from Magic’s side scored 16 points.

Guard of Magic, Evan Fournier, who only scored 8 points said, “We are not applying like a team that is trying to go into the playoffs. This time of the year, it is only going to get harder from here on out. Teams are trying their hardest to get into the playoffs so you also need to increase your intensity as well as your focus. We are not doing any of that.”

Up next, Orlando Magic will be starting their 5-game homestand with a first game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday while Wizards will host a game against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.
