Bellator MMA; Aaron Chalmers loses fight in Newcastle

At the Bellator MMA fight in Newcastle, Aaron Chalmers was submitted to lose by his opponent Corey Browning.

The former star from Geordie Shore was fighting in his home city of Newcastle as he taped out in the third round of the fight that ended his unbeaten MMA career.

Chalmers won the first four of his fights in opening rounds and was almost repeating his trick when he knocked Browning to ground with a left hook. Chalmers celebrated briefly before Browning recovered back.

After that Chalmers was forced into survival made at the end of the second round when he was boarded by Browning’s barrage of punches as he lay on the ground.

However, in the final round, Chalmers was caught in Browning’s heel hook submission hold as he surrendered momentarily.

As for the main event of the day, Patricky Freire beat Sunderland’s Ryan Scope by decision.
