Last time when St. Louis Blues were in the finals of the Stanley Cup, their goalie was Glenn Hall who is now 87 years old.

It was back in 1970; Richard Nixon was the president of United States, Beatles had broken up, gas was at 36 cents a gallon and the median house pay was at 23600 dollars.

The St. Louis Blues on Saturday night were able to win the Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against San Jose Sharks by 5-0 to have a lead of 3-2.

With this win of the best of seven series, Blues are now only 1 game away from ending their 49 years long Stanley Cup Final drought.

Blues had 11 postseason wins this season which is likely their most wins in a single playoff. Last time they reached the finals back in 1970, they only had 8 postseason wins.
