Booker and Warren lead Suns past Magic for a win by 122-120 in OT

Winning is something new for the Phoenix Suns and Devin Booker is the reason for it.

Booker who is a third-year guard for the Suns scored 35 points with his 8 assists and 7 rebounds to lead the Phoenix for a win against Orlando Magic by 122-120 in the overtime on Wednesday night.

Booker was the spark that caused the fifth win for the Suns in their last seven games.

Other players from Suns like T.J. Warren scored 24 points, four of which were scored in the OT, Kelly Oubre scored 19 points while Josh Jackson added in his 10 points for the team.




Bookers talking about Suns recent win said, “Some teams just click sometimes. I remember hat Mimi did that last year and ran for 15 straight or something. You never know when a team can click.”

Booker shined in the last moments of the game when he scored nine points including a 3-pointer to tie the game.

Suns that were coming to this game with the worst record in the NBA proved that things are never going to be easy in this season.

Orlando Magic was led by Augustine who scored his season-high 27 points with 6 assists, Nikola Vucevic added in his 22 points with 13 rebounds and Terrence Ross added in his 18 points for the Magic.

Magic, who had many opportunities to seize this game, lost their fourth game in a row.

Magic coach Steve Clifford said, “Tonight our offense was much better but our defense was not that good”.

Phoenix Suns with their season high of 7 games on the homestead will now play against Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday whereas Orlando Magic will play against the Eastern Conference leader Toronto Raptors on Friday.
