Champions League, Series A; Teen Kean scores 2 as Juventus beats Udinese 4-1

Despite the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo was out resting ahead of Juventus’ big Champions League match, Juventus still managed to defeat Udinese on Friday night by 4-1 with help of their teenage player Moise Kean. Moise Kean scored twice for the team on Friday night.

Kean, who after being replaced late in the game received a standing ovation, also earned a penalty, shot which was covered by Emre Can. With the final goal being scored by Blaise Matuidi, Juventus has now extended their lead in the Series A to 19 points.

As Juventus was trying to overcome their 2-0 deficit from their Tuesday night’s defeat against Atletico Madrid during the round-of-16 match, many of the key players from the team were rested by Massimiliano Allegri.

This was the first league start for the 19 years old Kean this season who up to this point, had only played in a handful of appearances and that too as a substitute. He certainly lived up to his shot. Kean said to media, “I am always ready to go whenever the coach calls me and in training sessions as well. Being a player at Juventus helps me a lot and I am learning new things every day.”

Kean scored his first goal in the 11th minute of the game as she slid past Alex Sandro.

He doubled his score moments before halftime as he scored the goal near the goalpost to beat the goalkeeper.

This goal from Kean caused both Ronaldo and Paulo to move their feet in admiration for the youngster.

Ken also almost scored a third goal in the second half but was sadly brought down by Nicholas Opoku that resulted in the penalty to shoot down right into the middle.

In this season, Juventus had not scored more than three goals in any match but on Friday night, they scored a fourth goal when Matudi headed a cross from Rodrigo Bentancur.
