Collin McHugh, Houston Astros pitcher avoids the line drive with an amazing Matrix move

Collin McHugh, the pitcher of Houston Astros earned his team the win against the Oakland A’s on Tuesday. However, the real winning moment of the night was him not throwing the ball but was him avoiding a line drive that was shot back towards him that could have destroyed his face.

Luckily for the pitcher, he has some sharp reflexes. Or it might seem he entered in the Matrix. Whatever may be the case, he avoided the ball in a wild way.

In the first of the 2-game series against the Oakland A’s, Kendrys Morales shot a 90 miles per hour hit straight back toward McHugh on the mound. Rather than getting hit in the head, McHugh bent backward smoothly and managed to avoid the ball which slid under his chin.

According to media, the ball only grazed McHugh’s finger. Due to this joke, the baseball now has Matrix joke.

McHugh told media that he has seen Matrix movie before but that is not where his move came from. He said, “I have had a few close calls in my career. I don’t know if it gets any much closer than this. Thankfully the ball was not coming as fast as it could have been.”

Astros won over the A’s by 9-1.
