Conor McGregor’s motoring charges dropped after short hearing in Dublin

The road traffic charges filed against the UFC fighter Conor McGregor have finally been dropped down after a short hearing in Dublin court.

McGregor, the former world champion was stopped earlier this year on July 10th by the traffic police after he was found driving without any driver license or insurance. He was stopped by the gardai in Grove Road, Rathmines.

30 years old fighter was also charged with failing to produce his documentation in his address in Laraghcon, Lucan, Co Dublin. On Monday, he was sentenced to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice.

However, later an application was made by Garda Keith Dolan for the removal of all charges against McGregor after the documents were provided in advance of his brief hearing.

The application was granted by Magistrate Geraldine Carthy and McGregor muttered the words ‘Thank You’ before leaving his short hearing.

The court appearance came after few weeks of his prior court appearance in front of Naas District Court in Co Kildare which disqualified him from driving for 6 months when he was caught driving over the speed limit.

For that case, McGregor was charged with a fine of 1000 Euros. The Irish police reported McGregor’s light blue Range Rover traveling at a speed of 154kph in a 100kph zone near Dublin last year.
