In the Saturday night boxing match at O2 for the vacant WBA Continental heavyweight belt held between David Price and David Allen, Price was able to beat his opponent in a 10-round fight.

Price, the former Olympian was able to subdue Allen with his impressive boxing skills before Allen’s trainer named Darren Barker intervened in the 10th round to call off the fight.

Price took the lead in the opening round with some headshots after he was teased by Allen who let go of his guard.

Allen targeted his opponent’s body in the 2nd but Price in the 3rd was able to make use of his long reach to land a huge uppercut.

The 4th round saw Allen desperately closing in to connect his uppercut to Price but Price still came on top as he connected his own combinations and boxed around with complete composure.

P6th round again saw Price with complete control as he connected both head and body shots and also landed in a couple of nice uppercuts during the 7th. As for Allen, he only kept on searching for an overhand punch but failed in the end.

Price aka “The White Rhino” kept on pushing his charge during the 8th but then suffered a cut on his right eye, still managing to land a left hook near the end of the 8th.

Allen again started the 9th with his drop-down guard stance and Price responded back with his 3-punch combination to his head.

The 10th round saw Price being in total dominance with his jab and his series of hooks but still, this was not enough to win him a Knockout victory. By this point, barker had seen enough of his fighter and called the fight off.

The 27 years old poplar fighter David Allen had to be taken to hospital for a precautionary test.
