Davis scores 40 points to leads Pelicans for a win by 125-115 against Nuggets

Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans made 10 field goals on the Saturday night basketball match against the Denver Nuggets.

Davis finished for the night by 40 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists as Pelican defeated Nuggets by 125-115 for the night.

His Saturday night preface was a follow up on his Friday night performance when he led his team for a win against New York with him scoring 43 points.

From Orleans side; Julius Randle added 21 points and 10 rebounds, Nikola Mirotic added in 20 points and 10 rebounds and E’Twaun scored 13 points. New Orleans has won five out of their past six games.

From the Nuggets side; Nikola Jokic added in 25 points and 10 rebounds, Gary Harriud scored 24, Juancho Hernangomez had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Monte Morris came off the bench to add 13 and Jamal Murray had 11 for the Nuggets. Nuggets have now lost for the fifth time in their past six games.

As for free throws, Pelicans made 31 of 34 throws and Nuggets only made 8 of 13 throws.
