The undefeated Gervonta Davis was able to retain his WBA Super-Featherweight title against his fight with champion Hugo Ruiz with a first-round knockout.

The fight was taking place in front of a crowd of 8048 spectators at the Dignity Health Sports Park in California, as the referee Jack Reiss stopped the fight.
