Doncic’s lead Mavericks past Trail Blazers by 111-102

Dallas Mavericks have not been able to in eight games at home since the last time they won the NBA Championship. On Tuesday night, however, Mavericks were able to match that mark in the rugged Western Conference.

In the Tuesday night game between the Dallas Mavericks vs. Portland Trail Blazers, Mavericks move past Blazers with a win of 111-102.

Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic who scored 21 points for the night while Wesley Mathews also pitched in his 17 points for the team.

DeAndre Jordan also helped the team massively with his 12 points and 17 rebounds which allowed Mavs to win their eight consecutive games at home since March of 2011 at the American Airlines Center.

Matthews said to media, “to be the team we wanted to be, we had to win the games at home. Our focus on defense is what is really making all of this happen for us”.

As for Trail Blazers, they were led by Damian Lillard who scored 33 points for the night while C.J. McCollum scored 18 points for the night.

Lillard scored 25 of his 33 points during the second half in an effort to make a comeback for the Portland. Lillard said to media, “it was an uphill battle. I thought we still had a chance. When you create a hole you have got to fight hard to get where you want to be. You have to put yourself in the position where you have to bring out the perfect of you”.

Doncic was named as the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for October/November.

Up next Portland Trail Blazers will host a match against Phoenix Suns on Thursday whereas Mavericks will play against New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
