Floyd Mayweather vs. Tenshin Nasukawa fight is ‘back on’

Floyd Mayweather announced that his fight with Japanese kickboxer and mix martial arts fighter Tenshin Nasukawa is back on.

Mayweather, the world’s undefeated five-weight world champion made an appearance in front of media earlier this month and said that he has signed a deal with the Japanese MMA Company RIZIN Fighting Federation.

However, after five days of making the media appearance, he once again announced that fight which was initially scheduled to be held in Japan on New Year’s Eve is not going to happen as he has been “Blindsided” at the press conference.

Now Mayweather has once again talked to media and announced that he will now be fighting Nasukawa for a nine-minute exhibition match with ‘no kicking’ rule.

Mayweather told media, “I went there and there was a big press conference. I did not want to throw my people under the bus so I just told them that this is not going to work out. There is not going to be an official fight. This will be an exhibition match. A small nine minutes fight with no kicking. It is going to be the biggest paid exhibition ever. Just for the promotion of this event I have made 7 figures.”

41 years old retired boxer has a perfect record of 50-0 and last he fought professionally was against Conor McGregor back in 2017.
