Galahad VS Mairena; Kid Galahad beats Brayan Mairena ahead of mandatory world title shot

On the Saturday night fight at Sheffield of Galahad VS. Mairena, Kid Galahad won the fight with shut out pints as he now waits for his mandatory world title shot.

Galahad, the slick featherweight boxer was a class above his opponent Brayan Mairena as he dominated the fight from start to finish. He won the fight by 80-72 verdict.

With this win, Galahad is now mandatory for the IBF World Title fight which is currently being defended by Josh Warrington against Carol Frampton. This defense title fight will take place on the same night as the Dillian Whyte’s blockbuster heavyweight rematch against Derek Chisora on 22nd December.

Yorkshireman with this win improves his record to 26-0 and controlled the match from the start with his razor sharp jab as he evaded all the combinations of his opponent neatly.

Mairena proved some game for himself by shooting off some good blows but was never able to it the opponent in the eight round fight.

Fist four was easily cruised by Galahad and then he stepped up the gears in the remaining four as his straight left did a considerable damage on his opponent. It was the seventh when things looked bleak and even over for the Nicaraguan but he held in their valiantly till the eighth round.
