George scores 31 to lead Thunder’s top Pacers by 107-99

Paul George was not at all interested in losing another game against his former team on Wednesday night.

The All-Star forward of OKC Thunder scored 31 points to lead the Thunder’s win over the Indiana Pacers by 107-99.

Thunders were trailing behind in the first half and by the break, they were down by 9 points. In the third quarter, they were being led by 76-69.




George said, “We were aware that this was not going to be great. We needed to change the things and we did just that. we came out and executed our plan.”

Other players from Thunder’s side like Steven Adams scored 25 points along with 12 rebounds while Russell Westbrook added in his 17 points along with 12 assists and 11 rebounds to score his 29th triple-double of the season.

Nate McMillan, the Pacers coach said, “That was the game. We were aware that they were going to play aggressively. Both Westbrook and Paul came out aggressive as they attacked the basket and scored. They made their run and were able to take control of the match.”

This win was crucial for Thunder as they had already lost 5 games in a row.

As for Indian pacers, they were led by Bojan Bogdanovic who scored 28 points while Domantas Sabonis scored 18 points as well as 10 rebounds for the team.

Indian pacers led before ht first half at 54-45. However, Thunders managed to close the gap early in the third quarter.

Up next, Indian Pacers will be playing against the Boston Celtics on Friday night while OKC Thunder will be hosting a game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.
