George’s 43 points, Westbrook’s triple-double resulted in Thunder win over Kings by 132-113

Billy Donovan; the Oklahoma City Thunder coach was thinking that his team spent a lot of time shooting three-pointers in there earlier two losses. However, the team on Wednesday night focused on their inside game and came out winning over the Kings.

On the Wednesday night game of basketball between Oklahoma City Thunders VS Sacramento Kings, Thunder came out winning by 1332-133.

Thunder were led by Paul George who scored 43 points on the night. Russell Westbrook had his triple-double whereas Steven Adams grabbed his career high 23 rebounds for the night.




Donovan said, “Steven was phenomenal on the court tonight. One thing that we wanted to do was playing closer to the rim. I felt that the team needed to play closer to the basket”.

George and Adams both had double-doubles with Gorge pulling down 12 rebounds whereas Adams scored 20 points. With this in, Thunder have won 8 of their last 11 games.

Sacramento Kings were led by Bubby Hield who scored his career-best 37 points which included 7 3-pointer shots. De’Aaron Fox added in his 28 points with 12 assists for the night.

George had scored 19 points by the first half whereas Westbrook had scored 17 and Adams added 14 points.

Adams talks about his team’s play on the night said, “We were getting some really good stops, so we did not have to do anything tricky. We were only more disciplined than our opponents and they also missed lots of shots”.

Up next, Thunder will play against Utah Jazz on Saturday against whom they have already won four straight games.

As for Sacramento Kings, they will host a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
