Gobert and Mitchell lead Utah to win over the Washington Wizards by 116-95

Utah Jazz were on fire on Moony night as they held off Beal to let him score only 15 points to win over the Washington Wizards by 116-95.

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with his 19 points while Rudy Gobert scored 14 points with 14 rebounds to win their 4th game in a row and their 6th game over the Wizards this season.

Gobert, who is the reigning Western Conference player of the week, provided a perfect field for the Jazz who are currently 7th in the Western Conference and are only 1 game behind the San Antonio Spurs as well as the OKC Thunder.

Quin Snyder, the Utah Jazz coach said, “We had many guys who guarded Beal tonight. To guard a player of such caliber cannot be done with one guy alone. We had good awareness tonight.”

As for Wizards, they were led by Jae Crowder who scored 18 points while Joe Ingles scored his 16 points for the team, As they tried to make up for Beal. Kyle Korver came off the bench to score 10 points while Ricky Rubio scored 8 point and 10 assists.

Up next, Utah Jazz will play against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night while Washington Wizards will play against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
