Golden State Warriors beat Suns by 106-95 on way to 4th straight win

Recently after the Golden State Warriors started having back to back wins in the season, their coach Steve Kerr joked that there is now no stopping his team.

Kerr said with a grin on his face, “You can now only hope to continue us now.”

This is how things are panning out in the Western Conference in this NBA season lately. Small win streaks that were once taken for granted by the Golden State Warriors as they won 3 NBA championship titles are now something that their coach is chuckling about.

D’Angelo Russell scored 31 points along with his 6 assists as the Warriors made late rally from 10 points deficit during the 4th quarter to grab a 106-95 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Other players of the Golden State Warriors; Damion Lee scored 16 points while Alec Burks added on his 13 points while Draymond Green scored 11 points with 7 rebounds.

Kerr said, “I think that finally our guys are getting that little bit of momentum going on for them and they are now feeling it. They just stayed with the momentum.  At this point, we are certain that we can win after taking it down the stretch. We are definitely taking the right step in that direction.”

After Golden State Warriors defeated Houston Rockets on the Christmas Day game, they were trailing by 86-87 against the Suns during the 2nd half and only 7 minutes remaining to it.

The comeback was made by Russell who scored a pair of free throws while Burks followed up on him with his own 3-pointer play. Burks later received an assist from teammate Willie Cauley Stein for making an alley-oop dunk shot.

For the Phoenix Suns, the lead was taken by Devin Booker who scored 34 points as the team lost their 8th game in a row.

U next, Suns will play against the Sacramento Kings while Golden State Warriors will take on the Dallas mavericks next.
