Golden State’s Klay Thompson leaves Game 6, suffers a torn ACL in knee

Golden State Warrior’s run of player injury continued in the third quarter of the game 6 as the team’s star guard player Klay Thompson’s left knee buckled during an awkward landing.

He suffered the injury when he contested a dunk with 2:22 to the clock of the third quarter.

Going through immense pain, Thompson remained on the floor for a few minutes as he held his leg tightly.

He was then helped off the floor and to the locker room but then he came back to make some free throws that pout Warriors ahead by 85-80.

After hang scored 30 points, Thompson left the game and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

He was seen leaving the Oracle Arena on crutches. Warrior’s later said that he has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee.

One of the Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson scored 30 points which also includes his 4 3-pointers before exiting the game. Thompson already had to sit out the Game 3 of the NBA finals due to a hamstring injury.
