Gordon’s late 3-pointer allows Orlando Magic to win over Sacramento Kings by 114-112

In the Monday night game of NBA of Orlando Magic VS Sacramento Kings, Magic made a big mistake during the last 80 seconds of their game. But then the quick change of mind by Evan Fournier and the big shot made by Aaron Gordon allowed for them to make up for that mistake.

Gordon scored a 3-pointer shot with only 1.1 seconds to the clock as the Orlando Magic won over Sacramento Kings by 114-112.

Steven Clifford, the coach for Orlando Magic said, “This was a terrific win. Hat to me was more of a win where we had to fight like hell and made some big plays near the end of the game than it was a lot of stuff that you look back at and say that we are on our way.”

Both Fournier and Gordon made it possible for Orlando Magic to achieve this close win their freelancing efforts.

De’Aaron Fox was the one that allowed for Kings to be at 112-111 with his own 3-pointer with only 15 seconds to the clock. Following a brief timeout, the Orlando Magic impounded the basketball to Fournier who then made a shot right elbow before making it as a pass to Gordon on the down low.

Fournier said, “I got to my spot but then I saw 2 bodies out there in the air. I was literally about to shoot but then I saw AG and I made the pass to him.”

Facing double-team from Kings and his back to the basket, Gordon made a flipped the ball high up and then it went in the basket.

Gordon finished the night with his 19 points as well as 9 rebounds while Nikola Vucevic scored 36 points along with 15 rebounds and Fournier adding in his 25 points of the Orlando Magic.
