Griezmann leads Barcelona’s win over Betis by 5-2 in the Spanish League game

Antoine Griezmann copied two players; one from his own sports field and one form NBA. He scored the goal in style of Lionel Messi and then mimicked LeBron James to celebrate this goal.

Griezmann, in his debut with Barcelona, was able to score twice in team’s match against Real Betis to lead their victory by 5-2 on Sunday’s game of Spanish League.

France forward, who has been newly signed by Barcelona, was able to score his first goal for his debut with team during the first half after Betis was the one to take the early lead. Griezmann then followed up on his early goal with a goal with a left-footed shot after the halftime.

Griezmann said, “I saw Messi doing it in the practice and then I tried to copy it.”

As for celebrating his 2nd goal, Griezmann went behind the goal to the fans of Barcelona and then picked up some of the glitters from somebody, ho seemed to be a staff member and then threw it in the air and spread his arms in the style of LeBron James as he did a few years ago.

Griezmann said, “I love LeBron’s rituals and I also try to imitate them.”

Griezmann was paling as forward fro Barcelona due to both Messi and Suarez sitting on the sidelines due to their injuries.

Other 3 goals for Barcelona were scored by Carles Pérez, Jordi Alba and Arturo Vidal respectively while Nabil Fekir and Loren Morón made the 2 goads for Betis respectively.

Barcelona earlier also the league’s opening game against Athletic Bilbao for their first-ever defeat of the opening league match in a decade. Messi missed that game due to his injury. As for Suarez, he got injured before halftime in the game at Bilbao. On Sunday another player of Barcelona, Ousmane Dembele also got injured.
