Harden’s 50-point triple-double leads Rockets over Lakers by 126-111

Houston Rockets were barely hanging on their lead over the LA Lakers on Thursday night game and then Harden asked the coach that he needs to go out on the court for a bit, smoothing which reigning MVP never does.

Head coach Mike D’Antoni happily agreed to Harden’s request and that could not have worked much better than for the Rockets.

Harden only returned with only five minutes left to the game as he scored 11 points to make his total scores 50 points for the night with 10 rebounds and 11 assists to let the Rockets win over Lakers by 126-111 on Thursday night game.

Harden later said, “you play for 45, 46 minutes and this is very tough for anyone on this league. The guys are really talented so I had a bit of time to rest. I came back in reenergized and made some good plays”.

Lakers were led by LeBron James who only scored 28 points for the team. Lakers won their previous two games but lost this one by a huge margin. James was unhappy about the fact that Lakers allowed Harden to reach the line 19 times where h only missed one time.

James said, “You can’t put Harden on the line. He is very talented. He is able to put the ball in the hole in many ways.’

Up Next LA Lakers will play against Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night whereas Houston Rockets will be playing against Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.
