Hawks rally for a victory over Knicks by 114-107

Kent Bazemore and Atlanta Hawk were able to erase their tough start on the Friday night game against the New York Knicks.

The game between Atlanta Hawks VS New York Knicks ended with Hawks’ win by 114-107 on Frida night.

Bazemore took the lead of the Haws as he scored 22 points while John Collins pitched in with his 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce said, “To see put guys made a standstill the end defensively was a great thing to see tonight”.

Seven of the Hawks players finished with double-digit scores. Trae Young form Hawks side scored 15 points with his 10 assists while Kevin Huerter added in his 16 points.

Knicks were led by Emmanuel Mudiay’s brilliant performance as he scored 32 points but unfortunately, Knicks lost their fourth consecutive game. Kevin Knox of the Knicks also scored 17 of his 24 points in the first quarter.

Knicks coach David Fizdale talking about his team’s loss said, for reasons unknown, the team has been hitting a wall in the third quarter for quite some time. That is our new quarter for some reason. We look fatigue in this period and seem to stop as we move the ball. Everything we performed sharply in the first round seems t fade away in the second round. We have to figure this thing out”.

From Hawks side, both Alex Len and DeAndre’ Bembry scored 12 points each whereas Jeremy Lin added 11 points for the team.

Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Knicks scored 15 points while Noah Vonleh scored 11 points off his 10 rebounds.

Young who started for the Hawks on Friday night is the only player of the team who has started 31 games this season for the team.

Up next, Atlanta Hawks will play against Detroit Pistons on Sunday while New York Knicks will play against Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.
