Heat hang on late to top Grizzlies by 112-108

Dewayne Wade who is turning 37 years old in a few days, he can still block shots even in the biggest moments of the game. The Saturday night game of basketball between Miami Heat VS Memphis Grizzlies ended with Heat win by 112-108.

 

Justise Winslow of the heat scored 26 points while Wade blocked a shot with a jump with 4 seconds to the game to secure Heat’s win.




Wade said to media, “if he would have managed that jump ball, I would have been very disappointed in myself. I was very confident when I got into that jump ball that I could muster enough strength to block it.”

Richardson and Tyler from Heat’s side scored 14 points each while Bam Adebayo and Derrick Jones Jr. also scored 11 points each for the team.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said it is not always going to be pretty for us.”

As for the Grizzlies, they were led by JaMychal Green who scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while Mike Conley scored 22 points and Marc Gasol added in his 15 points for the Grizzlies.

Memphis coach J.B. Bickerstaff said, “We still had an opportunity to win the game by the stretch. They were just able to make a couple more plays than we did.”

During the first half, Memphis Grizzlies also almost their forward Kyle Anderson due to a sprained left ankle injury his X-as came out negative and the coach said that he will go for an MRI on Sunday.

Overall, Grizzlies are now 14th rank of the Western conference.

Up next, Memphis Grizzlies will play a game against the Houston Rockets on Monday night whereas Miami Heat will play a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.
