Hield leads Kings to end their 11-game losing skid in San Antonio

Buddy Hield led the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night against San Antonio Spurs to end their 11-game losing streak by 113-106.

Will Cauley-Stein was the second top scorer of the Kings as he added in his 17 points while all the other starters of the Kings finished for the night with double digit scores. Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 15 points off of the bench.




As for San Antonio Spurs, they were led by LaMarcus Aldridge who scored 27 points with 17 rebounds. With this loss, Spurs have lost 4 of their last 6 games.

As for DeMarre Rozan he scored 16 points for the San Antonio Spurs while Rudy Gay added 18 points. Spurs still hold the seventh spot in the Western Conference rankings.

The Kings were coming to this game with them being eliminated from season on Saturday night in their loss against the Houston Rockets. With this loss, San Antonio Spurs have now lost the chance to play at the playoffs for 22 seasons in a row.

Not being able to make it to the playoffs might have been heavy on the Spurs coach Gregg Popovich who was ejected with 9 minutes to the third quarter.

He was ejected after he charged on the court to berate a referee Tyler Ford.

Up next, Sacramento Kings will host a game against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night while San Antonio Spurs will host a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.
