Isan Diaz, rookie of Marlins hits a homer as a broadcaster interviews his parents

The latest MLB debut is the one that will hardly be topped by anyone else.

Isan Diaz, the promoted second baseman of the MLB team; Miami Marlins was given the task of batting at the second base while facing the throw of the NL Y Young Award winner from New York Mets; Jacob deGrom.

As Diaz was in the batter’s box, the TV crew of Marlins was interviewing his parents, who were there watching the debut game of their son with their other family members and friends at the Citi Field.

It was then when the magic happened.

Diaz, on a throw of 97 mph from deGrom ripped the throw apart over to the right-field wall for making his first ML hit and this too was a home run.

It was no shock that everyone went crazy with excitement and as for the TV broadcast of the Marlins, it went on for a whole minute showing the cheers and screams of Diaz’s family.

Diaz’s mom said, “Perfect timing.”

As for Diaz’s father, he could not believe even after the whole thing went down in front of him.

He later asked the interviewer in disbelief, “We just homered off of deGrom? It was in his major league debut. This is unreal.”

Diaz is 23 years old is among the players which Marlins acquired for the Christian Yelich trade from Milwaukee Brewers before the 2018’s season.
