James Harden scored 49 points from 41 shots as Houston Rockets won over T’wolves

Even being undermanned for the 2nd night in a row could not put down the courage of Houston Rockets as they played and won their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Mike D’Antoni, the coach of Houston Rockets said, “I think that this would give you confidence.  You are playing on the field with a bazooka.” The name of the said bazooka is none other than James Harden.

Harden delivered for the Houston Rockets once more as he scored 49 points off of his mere 41 shots to lead the underhanded Rockets for 125-105 win over the Timberwolves. This is the 7th straight win for the Houston Rockets led by Harden’s great offense.

With the new debutant Russell Westbrook being sidelined due to injuries and many others also inured, Harden was much-needed force by the Rockets and he scored massively in his usual style.

Harden said of his great achievement for the team, “this was the collective effort.  We have still got 6 or 7 guys out there. So this was an easy game. We chalked it up and then got ready for the next game.  We came here with the intention of winning and then we showed that we can win.”

Robert Covington, forward for the Timberwolves said, “He scored 49 points from 41 shots. This is something that we want but it is sad that the other guys have him. We followed the game plan with him.”

For the Houston Rockets’ rookie player Ben McLemore, he scored 20 points one night after hitting his previous career-high of 19 points. Austin Rivers of Houston Rockets also added 19 points.

Including Westbrook, Houston Rockets were also missing on their center player Clint Capela and their guard players Gerald Green and Eric Gordon as well as Daneul House Jr.

Houston Rockets will now host against Portland Trail Blazers while Timberwolves will host a game for the Utah Jazz next.
