JD NXTGEN: Shannon Courtenay unbeaten record extends in London

Shannon Courtenay has extended his unbeaten record to three wins after a stoppage victory over Valerija Sepetovska in a fight held at York Hall.

With two point victories earlier to her name, the bantamweight fighter from Watford showed her power once more as she floored her Latvian opponent in the sound round to win the match.

With this win, Courtenay aka “the Baby Faced Assassin” improves her career record to 3-0 with 1 KO win as she now plans to test the rough waters ahead.

25 years old Courtenay came to the fight with an aggressive approach and landed a quick series of hooks to her opponent followed by a huge flushing right to stagger her opponent. She then went on to floor Sepetovska.

The fight went on to the 2nd round for 2 minutes which saw Courtenay landing more savage punches as she breached her opponent’s guard. Ultimately referee was forced to intervene the match and wave it off in victory of Courtenay.

Earlier on the night, Charles Frankham also extended his unbeaten career record whereas Reece Bellotti also won his match with a fourth-round stoppage victory over Josue Bendana.

The light-heavyweight fight had a thrilling result after Anthony Fox won by points against Duane Sinclair.
