Jon ‘Bones’ Jones to face the battery charge following his stripper club incident from April

Jon Jones, the MAM fighter is to face the misdemeanor battery charge following his little incident at a stripper club located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

According to the documents of charging Jones by the Albuquerque Police Department, one of their officers responded to a call coming from the TD’s Eubank Showclub by a  waitress on the night of 19th April. According to the employee, the fighter had put her in a chokehold; picked her off the ground and then hurled her around in the air. According to the police, Jones even pulled her down and then kissed her on the neck.

In addition to this, police also stated that after that Jones then placed her on a table by the bar and punched her in the genitals and afterward continued to touch her. After this whole incident, Jones simply left the establishment where he was at with his brother.

Back on 23rd May, the criminal report was then foiled in the Metropolitan Court and the media later reported that Jones did not make an appearance for a bond arraignment and later a bench warrant was issued for him.

The online records of the Albuquerque Police department show that a letter was sent to Jones which he did not return but still p[aid the cash bond of 300 dollars last Sunday. As for his next court date, it is not yet scheduled.

This is not the first time Joes have been in trouble with the law as back in 2012 he barely avoided jail following a DWI charge as he ran his Bentley in a utility pole standing in the upstate New York area. As for April 25, 2015, he was reportedly involved in a hit and run which left a pageant woman with one broken arm. This incident caused his UFC title to be stripped off of him. His probation terms for this case were violated after he participated in a drag race.
