The father of the UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov made a claim to media that, “Khabib Nurmagomedov will swallow Floyd Mayweather like a snake”.
The Russian fighter took it to twitter to announce his intent to fight against Mayweather back in October after winning his UFC bout against Conor McGregor.
Now the fighter’s father has also suggested that his son would crumble the American if they face each other in the boxing ring.
Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov said, “If Floyd Mayweather fights in accordance with MMA, he will not even stand a chance. He won’t have even a minute of a chance if he fights in the octagon. Khabib simply won’t give him any opportunity. Khabib will swallow him whole as if a snake does. If they fight in Khabib’s habitat, Floyd will only be a prey for him”.
Nurmagomdov defeated Conor McGregor back in October during e fourth round in Las Vegas to improve his unbeaten record.
Russian has currently won 27 professional fights an eight of them with a Knockout. Although Russian fighter’s father thinks that it is hard to beat Mayweather in a boxing ring, it is still possible.
However, currently, Nurmagomedov is suspended from fighting due to the brawl that broke out after his fight with Conor McGregor.
Both Conor and Khabib are waiting on the Nevada State Athletic Commission to lift their suspensions while the hearings are currently postponed.
