KPGA suspends golfer Bio Kim for three years for inappropriate gesture towards crowd

The KPGA (Korean Professional Golfers’ Association) has suspended the professional golfer named Bo Kim for 3 years from playing in Korea after he raised his middle finger towards the crowd during an event.

This inappropriate gesture was made by Bio Kim when he was playing in the final round of the DGB Financial Group Volvik Daegu Gyeongbuk Open. He went on tow in the tournament. According to Kim, he was distracted by the camera of a smartphone as he was playing the shot at the moment.

Following this incident, Kim also slammed his golf club hard on the ground at the 16th hole due to frustration. However, he was able to recover from the momentarily lapse of behavior to get a 1-shot win against the closest challenger named Daehyun Kim.
