Kyrie Irving scores 24 points to lead Celtics for a win against Hawks by 129-108

Kyrie Irving calls the Boston’s change from offense to defense the main contributor for their resurgence in the league with their longest riding winnings streak.

The streak continued on Friday night as well when Boston Celtic defeated the Atlanta Hawks by 129-108 for their eighth consecutive win of the season.

Irving led the team with his 24 points, which he scored just in the third quarter along with his 5 rebounds and 5 assists.




Other players from Boston like Jayson Tatum scored 22 points, Marcus Morris scored 20 points, and Gordon Hayward scored 19 points with five assists while Daniel Theis added in his 18 points. The rookie player of the team Robert Williams III blocked five shots from Hawks side.

Hawks were led by Kevin Huerter for the night who scored 19 points while John Collins scored 11 points with his 14 rebounds. With this defeat, Hawks have lost 6 of their last 7 games.

Hayward who missed the Wednesday night game had to go to the locker room at the end of the third quarter after he bit his tongue hard enough to draw blood.

Up next Hawks will play against Brooklyn Nets on Sunday while Boston Celtics will play against Detroit Pistons on Sunday night.
