Lakers under LeBron’s lead rally in 2nd half to beat Mavericks by 114-103

On the Friday night game between LA Lakers VS. Dallas Mavericks, Lakers were mostly neutral in the first half of the game. However, during the second half, the Lakers rallied up their defense as well as their offense under LeBron’s lead to win their second win in many nights against the Mavericks by 114-103.

Luke Walton; the Lakers coach said to media, “From the second quarter over defense started to step in. we did a nice job of getting stops and getting running”.

LeBron finished for the night with his 28 points despite missing five of six from the field in the first quarter.

James said to media, ‘I knew what kind of basketball I played in the first quarter and that resulted in us playing poor in the first quarter. I hit the reset button on me and knew I would be much better from thereon”.

Brandon Ingram scored 19 points and Kyle Kuzma added in his 15 points with 12 rebounds for the night from Lakers side.

Dallas Mavericks were led by Harrison Barnes with his 29 points whereas Dwight Powell added in his 17 points for the night. Dallas was assessed for four technical fouls on the night and JJ. Barea was ejected out during the fourth after receiving his second foul.

Mavericks still remain in Los Angeles where they will play against the LA Clippers on Sunday. As for LA Lakers, they will host a game for Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon.
