Late goal from Parma helps them beat Torino by 3-2 in Serie A

Parma was able to overcome their first half deficit and the missed penalty during the second half in the Serie A match against Torino to beat them by 3-2 on Monday.

Parma was able to get a lead into the game within the early 90 seconds of the first half with a goal from Dejan Kulusevski after he made a cutback on Gervinho’s bundle. For the Swedish teenage player of Parma, this was his first international goal in Serie A who is playing for the team on loan coming from Atalanta.

Unfortunately, the equalizer for the game was made by Torino after only 10 minutes after Cristian Ansaldi made a goal following a cross from Simone Verdi.

However, soon the chances of Tornio to gain something form this match lowered down drastically after their defender named Bremer was shown his 2nd yellow card and was then sent off with still more than 1 hour to the game.

However, the penalty of Gervinho’s was saved by Torino’s Salvatore Sirigu  and finally the 10-,man Torino was able to take the lead with only 2 minutes left to the halftime. The goal was made by Torino’s Andrea Belotti after he got fouled by Parma’s Vincent Laurini.

However, before the halftime could be sounded, there was still a little time left and Parma’s Andreas Cornelius was able to once more equalize the game for both side from his powerful shot in the net’s roof.

As for the 2nd chances, both teams played closely on defense and gave each other fewer chances. It seemed that the game was heading for a draw but then Parma’s substitute player Roberto Inglese as able to convert a cross from Gervinho into a goal that ended up being the game winner.
