Lillard scores 24, as Blazers defeated the Grizzlies by 99-92

Lately, the Trail Blazers bench is proving to be unstoppable when all five of its top players come together.

The Portland’s serve players were the key factor in winning the Wednesday night game of Portland Trail Blazers VS Memphis Grizzlies by 99-92.

Trail Blazers forward Zach Collins said, “It’s great when guys are getting open. Everyone setting screen and being unselfish as they look out for the guys and not for their own shots. Its contagious and everybody loves playing like that.”

Blazers were led by Lillard who scored 24 points, which included 15 points scored during the third quarter. Meyers Leonard from Blazers’ side scored 12 points with his 8 rebounds.

As for Memphis Grizzlies, they were led by Mike Conley who scored 23 points for the night. Memphis closed in at 99-92 after Marc Gasol’s free throw with only 45 seconds left to the game. However, they were not able to stop their fourth straight loss.

Conley said, “Sometimes, teams just go through lulls like this.”

Memphis were coming off from their Monday night’s loss against Golden State Warriors by 110-93, which was their first loss on their four-game road trip.

Up next, Memphis Grizzlies will play against Sacramento Kings on Friday. As for Trail Blazers, they will host a game against Utah Jazz on Friday.
