Magomedrasul Majidov gets 2nd round stoppage victory over Tom Little

The fight between Magomedrasul Majidov and Tom Little ended with a 2nd round stoppage victory for Magomedrasul Majidov in Saudi Arabia. With this win, Magomedrasul Majidov now moves to pro ranks with his 2d win in a row.

Magomedrasul Majidov, who had valiantly fought and defeated Anthony Joshua back in 2010 to win the first of his 3 world titles for amateur ranks, started the fight on a front foot as he rocked his opponent with hook shots to body and head.

Little made attempt to block but got floored after getting hit on top of the head in the 2nd round. After Little got hit and floored twice by Magomedrasul Majidov, the referee called the fight to be halted at the mark of 1:49 into the 2nd round.

As for the fight of the WBC Middle East Lightweight title, held between Zuhayr Al Qahtani and Omar Dusary, Qahtani won it.

Qahtani, the London based Saudi born boxer controlled this 8 round fight from the opening round as he claimed the victory via scores of ringside judges in his favor; 80-72, 78-74, and 77-75.

Last but not least on the UAE Lightweight division, Majid Al Naqbi was able to stop his opponent Ilia Beruashvili in 3 rounds.
