Memphis Grizzlies 112-104 Sacramento Kings; Jackson and Gasol lead Grizzlies win

Memphis Grizzlies were able to win the basketball match against Sacramento Kings by 112-104 on Friday night. While the rebound leader for the Grizzlies was Marc Gasol, it was the rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. who displayed his magnificent offensive skills on the court.

Jackson scored his season-high score of 27 points and as for Gasol, he made 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Gasol told the media about his rebounding record, “I have been here a long time. If you play long enough and you are lucky enough you are probably going to get those”.

With help from Jackson Grizzlies were able to maintain a lead of 13 points in the first half.

From Grizzlies side, Mike Conley added 19 points, six assists and Garret Temple finished the night with 14 points and missing only 1 out of his 6 shots.

Gasol has made career rebounds of 5613 and has broken the franchise record of previous Grizzlies player Zach Randolph which was at 5612.

From the Sacramento’s side, De’Aaron Fox led the team with 23 points and 10 assists. Buddy Hield added in 16 points whereas both Bogdan Bogdanovic and Iman Shumpert both added in 12 points for the team.
