Miami Heat top New Orleans Pelicans to win by 106-101

With some new faces on the court, Miami Heat were finally able to win at home game.

Miami Heat wasted most of their 31 points lead in the game but were eventually able to win against New Orleans Pelicans by 106-101 on the Friday night game.

From Miami’s side, Josh Richardson scored 20 points whereas Dwayne Wade added in his 18 points for the night. Miami had a 31 points lead during the second half but it was cut short by Pelicans during the final moments of the game. Nonetheless, Miami Heat were able to end their 6-game losing streak at home.

Miami Heat’s coach Erik Spoelstra said to media, “we can walk out of here tonight with a different feeling”.




As or Pelicans side, Anthony Davis finished for the night with his 41 points, Jrue Holiday scored 21 points whereas Nikola Mirotic scored 15 points for the team.

Pelicans kept on charging until the end but Miami never surrendered their lead.

Pelicans are up against Charlotte’s on Sunday night whereas Miami Heat will play against Utah Jazz on Sunday night at home.
