New England Patriots 10-17 Pittsburgh Steelers; Steelers wins the crucial match for the playoffs spot

On the Sunday night game of New England Patriots VS Pittsburgh Steelers, Steelers came out victorious by 17-10 to clinch a crucial win for the playoffs.

Tom Brady was stopped by Steelers’ defense repeatedly and the Patriots were stopped twice on the red zone by Steelers.

With this victory, Steelers ended their 3-game losing streak and they are now 8-5-1 on the season. With this crucial win, Steelers are now able to hand on to their lead in the AFC North ahead of the Baltimore Ravens.

As for Patriots, they are now 9-5 on the season, losing their consecutive game and also missed the chance to clinch the AFC East title.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB of the Steelers threw for 235 yards along with his two TD passes to Vance McDonald and Antonio Brown in the first half. However, he was also intercepted twice by Duron Harmon on the field.

As for Tom Brady from Patriots side, he threw for 279 yards with his one 63-yard TD pass to Chris Hogan in the first quarter. He was intercepted once in the first half.

Patriots 0-7 Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger made a five-yard touchdown pass to Vance McDonald.

Patriots 7-7 Steelers: Tom Brady made a 63-yard touchdown pass to Chris Hogan.

SECOND QUARTER

Patriots 7-14 Steelers: Roethlisberger made a 17-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown.

THIRD QUARTER

Patriots 10-14 Steelers: Gostkowski made a 33-yard field goal.

FOURTH QUARTER

Patriots 10-17 Steelers: Boswell made a 48-yard field goal.
