New Orleans Saints 26-18 Atlanta Falcons: Hill leads Saints to their 3rd straight title of NFC South

The game of Thanksgiving night between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons ended with the 26-18 points win for the saints. Taysom Hill blocked a punt from Falcon set up for his 3-yard TD catch as he scored it on his 30-yard run to hand New Orleans Saints their 3rd straight season title for the NFC South.

With Falcons Julio Jones being inactive due to a shoulder injury, Falcons offense suffered greatly as they could not keep up with the pace from New Orleans Saints and their QB Drew Brees.

Matt Ryan, the QB for the Flacons got sacked on the 4th-downplay by Cameron Jordan with 38 seconds remaining to the game. Ryan got sacked 9 times in this game which includes 4 times from Cameron Jordan.

New Orleans Saints, who lost the home game against Flacons by 26-9 on 10th November, were able to atone for that massive setback to be 10-2 on the season. They have only lost 1 game in their last 10 games.

The first possession from Flacons was ended by Hill as he blocked Ryan Allen’s’ punt. Saints were able to take over Falcons at their 30 and after 4 plays Hills was able to score the first TD of his on a pass from Drew Brees.

Hill then took a direct snap for making a 30-yard run for making his first rushing TD of this NFL season to allow Saints to have their 17-6 lead in the 1st half.

Falcons with their 2nd loss straight home-game loss are now 3-9 on the season and have the last spot in the NFC South.
