New Orleans Saints 38-28 Tennessee Titans: New Orleans win the road game with a late rally

The road game for the New Orleans Saints held against the Tennessee Titans needed in a 38-28 win for the Saints.  Michael Thomas broke the single-season reception record set by Marvin Harrison in this game as well.

Thomas, who made 12 catches for his 136 yards along with 1 TD, was able to make 145 catches so far this year as he broke the record of 143 catches set by Harrison back in 2022 playing for the Indianapolis Colts.




As for Drew Brees, the QB for New Orleans Saints, he threw 38 passes of which he completed 27 for 279 passing yards along with 3 TDs. As for Alvin Kamara of the Saints, he made his 1st TD since Week 3 of the season as well as added in 80 yards on the ground.

As for the QB of the Titans, Ryan Tannehill, he completed 17 out of his 27 passes for a total of 227 yards along with 3 TDs but got sacked 5 times following the aggressive defense of the New Orleans Saints.

Titans made an impressive start of the game by taking 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter following a 41-yard TD pass from Tannehill to Jonnu Smith before AJ Brown took it for 49 yards to get an impressive rushing score for the Titans.

But in the 3rd quarter, the New Orleans Saints finally took over the game. After the half time, Kamara broke through the line for a 40-yard TD on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter and then had a one-yard plunge to allow Saints to have a 10-point lead for 24-14.

Still, Titans did not surrender the game as they drew 3 on 36 with a 7-yard TD from Tajae Sharpe but Brees proved a key player for closing the game.

With this win, New Orleans Saints are now 12-3 on the season as they are still battling it for the top seed of the NFC. As for the Titans, they are now 8-7 on the season and have the fate for a playoff spot in their own hand. If the Titians win the Week 16 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, then they will claim the 6th seed for the division.
