If Jubb had been an American and won the NCAA title, he would have been given the wild card entry for the US Open but now he does not gets it.

Jubb took t to Twitter to show his happiness in the following statement,

“Beyond happy to play my first Wimbledon and be given this amazing opportunity. Thanks to the LTA for all the support and everyone else on this journey with me. As a young lad growing up in Hull it was a big dream to get to SW19.”

Jubb is not going to be able to receive the guaranteed sum of 45000 pounds for the first round entry in the Wimbledon as he intends to play as an amateur as he intends to complete his final year at the University of South Carolina.
