Philadelphia 76ers 113-107 Utah Jazz; Butler and Embidd lead Sixers win

On the Friday night basketball game of Philadelphia 76ers vs. Utah Jazz, Sixers came out victorious by 113-107.

Butler was the star of the Sixers on Friday night as he scored 28 points in his first home debut and Embidd of the Sixers added in the additional 23 points for the team.

Butler the four times All-Star was traded off to Philadelphia 76ers by Minnesota Timberwolves in a five-player trade. He got his loud ovation from the crowd and quickly made a fierce start for the Sixers as they took the 16 points to lead in the first quarter.

Fans were cheering for him throughout the game and after they won the game they even sang the theme song of the Sixers, “1-2-3-Sixers”.

Butler after the match said, “I knew that they would be this much excited. Now that they are all on my side, it’s better for me. We have some great fans and we have the catchiest song. I used to sing this song when I came here.”

Embidd only said one statement about the enthusiasm of the fans, “the atmosphere was amazing tonight”.

76ers have only lost 1 game out of their previous 30 home games in the regular season.

Other players of Sixers like Simmons scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Redick scored 16 points. 14 of the Embidd points were scored in the fourth quarter. He only played less than 1 minute in the third quarter because of his three fouls.

Jazz were led by Donovan Mitchell with his 31 points.
