Pittsburgh Steelers 24-17 Los Angeles Chargers; James Conner seals the win with a TD

The NFL game between Los Angeles Chargers and the Pittsburgh Steelers ended with a 24-17 win for the Steelers. James Conner had 1 TD on the ground and the other one in the air to seal the win for the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers.

Devlin “Duck” Hodges, the QB of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who is the undrafted rookie, was his first appearance of the career as an NFL QB following injuries to both of Steelers’ main QBs Ben Roethlisberger and Mason Rudolph. Hodges ended the night by completing 15 of his 20 passes for 132 yards.




Hodges made both a scoring pass as well as an interception allowing for Conner to finish the night with 41 rushing yards and 78 receiving yards.

As for Devin Bush, the rookie linebacker of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he scored on the fumble return and then also got an interception for the team.

As for Philip Rivers, the QB of the LA Chargers, he was in a lot of pressure on the night. He still completed 26 of his 44 passes for a total of 320 yards along with 2 TDs and 2 interceptions. Both of these TDs from Rivers were caught by Hunter Henry of the Chargers.

Steelers’ 1st drive on the 3rd quarter had a 20-yard field goal from Chris Boswell to make the score 24-0 with 8 minutes to the game.

On the following 2 drives by Chargers, they made 70 yards on 10 play as Rivers scored to make the score 24-10.

Chargers had the ball with a minute to the game but they were at their own yard line. Following this incomplete pass, Rivers got intercepted by Cameron Sutton and thus ending LA Chargers’ hopes.
